How to complete a pending WhatsApp Business Account connection ​

Embedded signup can save your Meta login without attaching a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). In AvenPing that shows as a pending connection. Retry Meta signup, paste the numeric WABA ID from Meta Business Settings, or start a fresh Connect WABA / Connect WhatsApp.

Step-by-step ​

  1. Confirm the connection is pending
    Open Settings → WhatsApp. A pending account shows an amber Pending WhatsApp Business Account banner and a pending row. Copy says Meta saved a login but did not attach a WABA. On Dashboard, there is no amber banner. The WhatsApp card under Connected Platforms shows a Pending badge and “Login saved — attach a WABA to finish connecting.”

  2. Retry Meta signup
    Click outline Retry Meta signup on the Settings banner, the pending row, or the Dashboard WhatsApp card. Finish the Meta window again: continue as your Facebook user, grant permissions, and select or create the WhatsApp Business Account. Use this when the first popup closed early or Meta omitted the account.

  3. Or paste the WABA ID from Business Manager
    Click warning Enter WABA ID. The modal title is Enter WABA ID. Open Meta Business Settings → WhatsApp accounts, select the account, and copy the numeric WhatsApp Business Account ID (often in account details or the URL). Paste it and click Connect. AvenPing uses the saved signup token. When Meta returns phone numbers, AvenPing registers them automatically.

  4. Or start a fresh connect
    To connect a different account instead of finishing the pending one, use Connect WABA in Settings → WhatsApp, or primary Connect WhatsApp on the Dashboard card. Complete embedded signup as in How to connect WhatsApp Business to AvenPing.

  5. Register, verify, and activate if needed
    After the WABA attaches, phones may still need verification or a line slot. See How to register and verify a WhatsApp phone number and How to activate WhatsApp lines and set a primary line.

WARNING

Paste only the numeric WhatsApp Business Account ID. AvenPing uses the login already saved from embedded signup. If you prefer not to look up the ID, open Enter WABA ID and use Call sales or WhatsApp sales.

FAQ ​

Why did Meta omit the WhatsApp Business Account?

Embedded signup can return a login without a WABA when the Meta popup is closed early, a permission is skipped, or Meta does not include the Business Account in the token. AvenPing keeps a pending placeholder so you can retry or paste the ID instead of starting from scratch.

Where are Retry Meta signup and Enter WABA ID?

Settings → WhatsApp: amber banner and the pending row (outline Retry Meta signup, warning Enter WABA ID), plus Connect WABA for a new signup. Dashboard: the WhatsApp card only (same Retry and Enter WABA ID actions, plus primary Connect WhatsApp). Dashboard has no amber banner.

What happens after I click Connect in Enter WABA ID?

AvenPing attaches that WABA with your saved signup token. If Meta returns phone numbers, it registers them automatically. You may still need to verify a number and assign it under Active lines.

Can I paste a WABA ID when nothing is pending?

Yes. If there is no pending account and you still have a connection slot, Settings → WhatsApp also shows Connect with WABA ID. The same Enter WABA ID modal opens.
