How to add labels and notes in a conversation

Labels tag a contact for filters and automation. Notes are internal text your team sees, not WhatsApp messages. In AvenPing, open a conversation, apply labels on the contact, edit Notes in contact info, or hover a bubble and choose Add to Notes.

Prerequisites

Step-by-step

  1. Open the conversation
Go to Messages and select the chat. Open contact info from the header.

  2. Apply labels
Use the labels control on the conversation/contact. Labels you created in Settings → Labels appear here. The inbox list can filter by label.

  3. Write Notes
In contact info, add or edit Notes. These stay inside AvenPing.

  4. Add a bubble to Notes
Hover a message, open the menu, and choose Add to Notes to copy that text into the contact’s notes.

TIP

Use labels for routing (VIP, billing). Use notes for context the next agent needs.
