How to connect Zoho CRM to AvenPing ​

Zoho CRM syncs AvenPing contacts and custom attributes into Zoho Contacts and Leads. Open Integrations, Activate Zoho CRM, click Connect with Zoho, complete OAuth, then save Contact Field Mapping and Lead Field Mapping.

Step-by-step ​

  1. Open Integrations and activate Zoho CRM
    Sign in at app.avenping.com. Click Integrations. On the Zoho CRM card (badge CRM), click Activate, then Configure if the card is already active.

  2. Register the redirect URI if Zoho asks for it
    Under Connection, copy OAuth redirect URI (register in Zoho API Console). AvenPing uses Zoho’s OAuth 2.0 flow with a server-based client. Status shows Not connected (OAuth next) until you finish sign-in.

  3. Connect with Zoho
    Click Connect with Zoho. Complete the Zoho sign-in. On success, AvenPing shows Zoho CRM connected successfully and Status Connected to Zoho. Use Reconnect Zoho later if you need to authorize again. Click Refresh status to reload connection details such as API domain (from Zoho).

  4. Map custom attributes
    Core mappings are fixed: AvenPing Name → Zoho Full_Name, AvenPing Phone Number → Zoho Phone (and Mobile). Under Contact Field Mapping and Lead Field Mapping, map each custom attribute to a Zoho field, Do not sync this field, or Create field with this name. Click Save mappings.

  5. Sync now
    Click Sync now. AvenPing reports synced and failed counts. Unmapped attributes are not pushed. Field mappings status shows Configured or Pending auto-mapping.

TIP

Connect Zoho first. Mapping dropdowns stay disabled with “Connect Zoho first to configure field mappings” until OAuth succeeds.

FAQ ​

What gets synced automatically?

Name and Phone Number are fixed. Custom attributes sync only after you map them under Contact Field Mapping or Lead Field Mapping and click Save mappings.

What does Sync now do?

It runs an immediate sync and toasts Zoho sync complete with Synced and Failed counts. Use it after you save mappings or when you want a manual refresh.

Can I reconnect without losing mappings?

Yes. Click Reconnect Zoho to run OAuth again. Then use Refresh status and Save mappings if you change field maps.
