How to add products to a WhatsApp catalogue ​

A WhatsApp catalogue is the product list you send in chat. In AvenPing, open Catalogue, connect a catalogue if prompted, select AvenPing (manual) under Data source, click Add product, fill the required fields, then Save. Save on this panel pushes the catalogue to WhatsApp.

Step-by-step ​

  1. Open Catalogue
    Sign in at app.avenping.com. In the left sidebar, click Catalogue. The page title is WhatsApp Catalogue. Optionally pick a line in the page line filter.

  2. Connect a catalogue if asked
    If no catalogue is linked, the overlay Connect a catalogue to WhatsApp appears. Pick an owned catalog and click Connect, or click Create new catalogue, enter Catalogue name, and click Create. Then Connect the new catalog.

  3. Choose AvenPing (manual)
    In the left Data source list, click AvenPing (manual). The right panel heading is Products. Empty state text: No products yet. Click "Add product" to create your first item.

  4. Add product and fill required fields
    Click Add product. In the Add product dialog, fill: Title *, Description *, Price * (number plus currency, for example 100 INR), Availability * (In stock or Out of stock), Product link * (http:// or https://), Image link * (http:// or https://), Brand *, and Condition * (New, Refurbished, or Used). Click Save product. Use Edit or Delete on a card to change or remove it.

  5. Save to WhatsApp
    Click Save on the Products toolbar. AvenPing saves the list and pushes it to WhatsApp. Use Sync to open Sync from WhatsApp, read the merge warning, then Continue to pull matching WhatsApp products into this catalogue.

TIP

Price must look like 100 INR (amount, space, three-letter currency). Availability must be in stock or out of stock. Condition must be new, refurbished, or used.

WARNING

Save on AvenPing (manual) pushes to WhatsApp. Confirm titles, prices, and image URLs before you click Save.

FAQ ​

What if I have no Meta catalogue yet?

The overlay Connect a catalogue to WhatsApp blocks the page until you Connect an existing catalog or Create new catalogue (commerce vertical) and then Connect.

Can I edit a product after I add it?

Yes. On the product card click Edit to reopen Edit product, change fields, and click Save product. Then click Save on the toolbar to push the update.

What does Sync from WhatsApp do?

Sync opens Sync from WhatsApp. The warning states products fetched from WhatsApp update matching products by ID and append new ones. Click Continue to run the sync.
