How to add WhatsApp greeting prompts
WhatsApp greeting prompts are ice-breakers customers tap when they open your business chat. In AvenPing, open Settings → WhatsApp prompts, pick a line, click Add prompt, and save. You can store up to four prompts, each 256 characters or less.

- Conversational automation available on that Cloud API line.
Step-by-step
Open WhatsApp prompts
Go to Settings → WhatsApp prompts.Select the line
Use the line selector. Prompts are stored per line.Click Add prompt
Click Add prompt. Type the ice-breaker text customers should tap (for example “See pricing”). Stay within 256 characters.Save and review
Save the prompt. Add up to four. Edit or delete from the list. The add button disables at the maximum.
TIP
Use short, distinct prompts. Pair them with WhatsApp commands if you want slash-style actions as well.
FAQ
How many prompts can I add?
Four per line (MAX_CONVERSATIONAL_PROMPTS). Each prompt maxes at 256 characters.
Do prompts start a chatbot?
They are Meta conversational ice-breakers. Your chatbot still needs its own Start-node trigger if you want automation after the tap.
The page says prompts are not applicable
The selected line may not support conversational automation, or no active line is selected. Switch lines or finish activation.
