How to Disable a Contact ?

Disabling a contact in AvenPing allows you to temporarily prevent interactions with that contact without permanently deleting their information.

Step-by-Step Guide to Disable a Contact

  1. Go to avenping.com and click on Login or visit app.avenping.com/login directly.

  2. Navigate to the Contacts section from the sidebar navigation. Step 2 - Open Contacts

  3. Locate the contact you want to disable and click on the three-dot menu beside it. Step 3 - Open Actions Menu

  4. Select Disable from the dropdown options. Step 4 - Choose Disable

  5. The system will confirm that the contact's status has been updated successfully.

Add a short note attribute (e.g., status_note) explaining why the contact was disabled for future context.

  • Use the disable option for contacts that are temporarily inactive.
