Prerequisites: Ensure you have the contact's consent to receive WhatsApp messages and a valid phone number in international format (E.164), for example, +1XXXXXXXXXX.

Steps to Add a Contact ​

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Navigate to Contacts

  3. Add a New Contact

  4. Enter Contact Details

    • Input the Name and Phone Number of the contact. Contact Details Form

Enter phone numbers in full international format (E.164). This improves deliverability and prevents failures during WhatsApp sending.

    • Click on Attributes.
    • Select attributes from the dropdown menu and enter corresponding values.

    • You can only add attributes up to the number available for your account. For example, if you have 4 attributes, you can only assign 4. To add new ones, you must first delete or remove existing attributes.
