How to create a template on the AvenPing mobile app ​

The mobile app includes a template composer. Open the Templates tab, start Create Template, fill name, language, category, and body, then submit for Meta approval. Complex types (carousel, catalogue, LTO, Marketing Lite) are documented on web: How to create a WhatsApp message template.

Prerequisites ​

  • Mobile app signed in with a connected WhatsApp line.
  • Familiarity with Meta categories (Marketing, Utility, Authentication).

Step-by-step ​

  1. Open Templates
    On the tab bar, open Templates.

  2. Start Create Template
    Use the add action to open the Create Template screen.

  3. Fill the form
    Enter template name, language, category, body ({{1}} placeholders), and buttons or media the screen allows. Preview, then submit.

  4. Wait for approval
    Use the template in campaigns or inbox only after Meta approval. Confirm status on web Broadcast → Templates if the mobile list is unclear.

WARNING

Web is the source of truth for Verification Rules, Marketing Lite, and catalogue/carousel types. If a type is missing on mobile, create it on the dashboard.

FAQ ​

Why is a type missing on mobile?

The mobile composer may not expose every Marketing type. Use app.avenping.com Broadcast → Templates → Create Template.

Can I edit after submit?

When the status allows, use the web row action Edit (Edit Template modal, Update Template) or the mobile editor. Web has no Duplicate action on the templates table.

Does mobile create templates on the same line?

Yes. They belong to the WhatsApp line on the account, same as web.
