How to activate WhatsApp lines and set a primary line ​

AvenPing treats each connected phone as a line. Under Settings → WhatsApp → Active lines, assign a registered number to an empty Line slot. Click Set primary so campaigns and templates default to that line. Use Deactivate to free a slot.

Step-by-step ​

  1. Open Active lines
    Go to Settings → WhatsApp. Read Active line slots (for example 1 / 2). Remaining slots say how many empty Line N rows you can fill.

  2. Assign a number to an empty slot
    On Empty slot, pick a phone from the picker. That activates the number as Line 1, Line 2, and so on, with status ACTIVE.

  3. Set the primary line
    The Primary badge marks the default for campaigns and templates. On a non-primary line, click Set primary.

  4. Deactivate if you need the slot
    Click Deactivate to remove a number from a slot without deleting the WABA. If all slots are used, add a WhatsApp add-on in Settings → Subscription.

  5. Switch the working line in the sidebar
    Use the sidebar line picker when you have more than one active line. Inbox, templates, and chatbots follow the selected workspace line.

TIP

Keep one primary line for broadcasts. Extra lines are useful for brands or regions, but each has its own templates and quality rating.

FAQ ​

Why is the phone picker disabled?

You have no remaining slots, or the number is still Unregistered/Unverified. Free a slot with Deactivate, or finish registration.

Does Deactivate delete the WhatsApp Business Account?

No. It only clears that line slot. Connect WABA and the phone inventory remain.

How do I get more lines?

Open Settings → Subscription and add a WhatsApp add-on when your plan offers extra line slots.
