How to add WhatsApp commands

WhatsApp commands are tap targets (slash-style names) in the business chat. In AvenPing, open Settings → WhatsApp commands, pick a line, click Add command, enter a command name and description, then save. You can store up to ten commands per line.

Prerequisites

Step-by-step

  1. Open WhatsApp commands
Go to Settings → WhatsApp commands.

  2. Select the line
Commands are per line. Use the line selector.

  3. Click Add command
Click Add command. Enter a command name (letters, digits, and underscores only) and a description customers will read.

  4. Save, edit, or delete
Save the command. You can Edit command or delete from the list. Names must be unique on that line. Maximum is ten commands.

TIP

Keep names short (hours, track_order). Put the human-readable text in the description.
