How to generate a WhatsApp QR code ​

A WhatsApp QR code opens a chat with your business number when scanned. In AvenPing, open Dashboard, use the QR Generator card, enter an optional prefill message, click Generate, then share or download the code. This is the customer dashboard tool, not the OWNER-only QR Codes business page.

Prerequisites ​

  • An active WhatsApp line so the QR points at a real number.
  • Optional: a short prefill message such as a greeting keyword that starts your chatbot.

Step-by-step ​

  1. Open Dashboard
    Sign in and click Dashboard. Find the QR Generator card (QR code generator for WhatsApp).

  2. Enter a prefill message (optional)
    Type the message that should appear when someone scans and opens WhatsApp.

  3. Click Generate
    Click Generate. The panel shows the QR. If you already claimed a physical AvenPing QR, Save stores the prefill on that claimed code.

  4. Share or download
    Share the QR image or download it for print. Optional: Scan QR / Claim QR to attach a physical AvenPing code to this account.

FAQ ​

Is this the same as Business → QR Codes?

No. Business → QR Codes is an OWNER-only operator page. Customers use Dashboard → QR Generator.

Can I print the QR in a store?

Yes. Download the image and print it. Claimed physical AvenPing codes can stay active with a saved prefill.

The QR opens the wrong number

Switch the workspace line / active number, then generate again.
