How to update AvenPing account settings

Account settings live under Settings → General. Edit Profile Information (name, email, WhatsApp Number, Industry, Business Website), Display language, Account type, Password Management, or use Danger Zone to Delete My Account.

Prerequisites

• An AvenPing login. See How to log in to AvenPing.
• Your current password if you will change it.
• Your account email if you will delete the account (typed as confirmation).

Step-by-step

1. Open General
   Sign in at app.avenping.com. Click Settings. Under PERSONAL, click General.

2. Save Profile Information
   Update First Name, Last Name, Email Address, WhatsApp Number, Industry, and Business Website (optional). Click Save Profile. Success: Profile updated successfully.

3. Set Display language and Account type
   Under Display language, choose Language (English is default; other languages use Google Translate and reload). Under Account type, toggle Single vs Organisation (Team) to add agents. Success toasts Account set to Organisation (Team) or Account set to Single.

4. Change Password
   Under Password Management, enter Current Password, New Password, and Confirm New Password (minimum 8 characters). Click Change Password. Other devices are signed out.

5. Delete My Account (optional)
   Under Danger Zone, click Delete My Account. In Delete your account?, type Email confirmation to match your account email, then click Delete my account. You are signed out and cannot sign in again with that account. This is a short confirm dialog—not a separate Settings page.

WARNING

Deletion deactivates the account permanently. Type the exact account email. Cancel if you are not sure.

FAQ

Do I need Organisation (Team) for Manage Agents?

Yes. Settings → Manage Agents appears for TEAM or OWNER accounts. Switch Account type to Organisation (Team) first.

What happens to other sessions when I change password?

They are signed out. Review remaining devices under Settings → Active sessions.

Is there a dedicated Delete account tutorial?

No. Delete is this Danger Zone dialog on General. There is no longer standalone flow.
