How to edit or delete a catalogue product ​

Open Catalogue → AvenPing (manual). On a product, click Edit to change fields in the product modal, or Delete to remove it. Adding products is a separate tutorial.

Step-by-step ​

  1. Open AvenPing catalogue
    Sign in at app.avenping.com. Open Catalogue. Select AvenPing (manual).

  2. Click Edit
    On the product row, click Edit. The edit product modal opens.

  3. Change fields
    Update name, price, images, or other fields the modal shows. Save the modal.

  4. Or click Delete
    Click Delete on the product. Confirm if AvenPing asks.

  5. Check inbox and chatbots
    Catalogue messages that referenced the SKU will fail or skip if the product is gone. Update chatbot catalog nodes.

TIP

Google Sheets and Shopify catalogues sync from the source. Edit there, then refresh the data source — not only the AvenPing manual list.

WARNING

Deleting a product that a live chatbot Carousel Catalog uses breaks that node until you pick another product.

Can I edit a Shopify-synced product here?

Prefer the Shopify or Sheets source. Manual AvenPing products are the ones with Edit / Delete on that panel.
