How to create a Marketing Lite template ​

Marketing Lite is an AvenPing category. It is created with Meta as Utility for the same limits and faster delivery, for light marketing with custom pricing. In Create Template, set Category to Marketing Lite. Sending a campaign with this category requires Credit Line.

Prerequisites ​

Step-by-step ​

  1. Open Create Template
    Sign in at app.avenping.com. Open Broadcast → Templates. Click Create Template.

  2. Set Category to Marketing Lite
    Fill Template Name and Language. Set Category to Marketing Lite. Tooltip: created as Utility with Meta; use it for light marketing with custom pricing. There is no Marketing Template Type picker (carousel or LTO). Buttons work like Utility.

  3. Build body and buttons
    Write Body. Add buttons allowed for Utility-style templates. Do not expect Marketing-only types (Carousel, Catalogue, Limited Time Offer).

  4. Create Template
    Check the preview. Click Create Template. Wait for Meta approval.

  5. Send with Credit Line
    Campaigns that use Marketing Lite require credit line. If it is off, AvenPing returns that credit line is required.

TIP

Use full Marketing when you need carousel, catalogue, or LTO. Use Marketing Lite for simple promotional Utility-priced sends.

WARNING

Do not confuse Marketing Lite with Authentication. Authentication is OTP only. See How to create an authentication (OTP) template.

Is Marketing Lite a Meta category name?

No. AvenPing shows Marketing Lite. Meta stores it as Utility.

Why did campaign create fail?

Enable Settings → Credit Line if the account has it, then retry. The API requires credit line for Marketing Lite templates.
