How to disconnect a WhatsApp Business Account ​

On Settings → WhatsApp, open the account card and click Disconnect. Confirm Disconnect WhatsApp account?. Self-service accounts see remaining disconnects. Otherwise the helper text is Disconnect requests are reviewed by AvenPing support. Pending requests show Request pending.

Step-by-step ​

  1. Open WhatsApp settings
    Sign in at app.avenping.com. Open Settings → WhatsApp.

  2. Click Disconnect
    On the account card, click Disconnect (red outline). If locked, the button shows Request pending.

  3. Read the policy
    Helper text may show N self-service disconnect(s) remaining. or that support reviews requests.

  4. Confirm the dialog
    Title: Disconnect WhatsApp account? Click Disconnect. Self-service shows Disconnecting…. Support-review shows Submitting…. Toast: Disconnect request sent to AvenPing or Disconnect request already pending.

  5. Reconnect later if needed
    Use Connect WABA or Reconnect on the card when you are ready. See How to connect an additional WhatsApp Business Account.

TIP

If you only need another number, connect an additional WABA instead of disconnecting the primary line.

WARNING

Disconnecting stops inbox, campaigns, chatbots, and events on that account. Campaigns and events that use its lines will fail or pause.

FAQ ​

Why is Disconnect locked?

A previous request is pending until the lock date. The UI shows Locked until that date.

Can I undo Disconnect?

Not from the same click. Connect WhatsApp again with Meta signup.
