How to connect one WhatsApp chatbot to another

Drag Connect Chatbot from Action Blocks and pick the destination chatbot. Use No trigger (manual/internal only) on the target so it does not also fire on keywords.

Prerequisites

• At least two saved chatbots. See How to build a WhatsApp chatbot.
• Know Start triggers. See How to set chatbot keyword triggers.

Step-by-step

1. Prepare the destination
   Open the child chatbot. Set Start Trigger on to No trigger (manual/internal only) if it should only run via connect.

2. Open the parent chatbot
   Edit the chatbot that should jump.

3. Drag Connect Chatbot
   Components → Action Blocks → Connect Chatbot.

4. Select the chatbot
   In the sidebar, pick the saved destination.

5. Save both
   Save the parent. Test from a keyword on the parent through to the child.

TIP

Reuse a support or payment sub-flow from several parent chatbots instead of duplicating nodes.

WARNING

If the child also has Keywords or All messages, it can start on its own and skip the parent path.

Pick a chatbot that belongs to the same WhatsApp line as the parent.
